the magnificent oaks in Warland Park after one of his famous acquaintances:
The Collins Oak, after Arthur Collins; the Lanier Oak, after Sidney
Lanier. Others were named after
Ellen Beach Yaw, Dr. George Wharton James,
Charles F. Lummis, William Wendt, etc.
