Laguna Beach
When first I saw Laguna Beach--
In eighteen seventy-eight--
She was as God had made her,
In her fair and primal state,
A thing of mystic beauty,
Bride of the sapphire sea
Clasping fair hands across the sands
In wedded loyalty.
Laguna Beach they called her
In singleness of heart,
ÒWhat God hath joined together
Let no man tear apart.Ó
