nThrough his newspaper columns, Isaac made Lombardy Lane a Laguna Beach Landmark.
nFor 10 years he and Bettie saved to purchase a lot on El Bosque, site of the 1921 Peace Pipe Pageant.  In 1941, his new studio was completed--only a year before he died.
