Isaac Frazee was a published poet.  He not only published hundreds of poems in local newspapers, but he also had many published in magazines, such as these two in Overland Monthly.  Many of his poems are from the ÒLo! And Hark!Ó school of poetry, but he wrote in many other styles, too.  While living in the San Luis Rey Valley, he wrote many poems and songs with a Spanish-American theme--such as the poem on the right--ÓEl CigarittoÓ.
