In 1881, when he was just 22,  ÒIkeÓ Frazee traveled 1,400 miles from his home in San Bernardino to Yosemite.  This journey was a turning point in his life.

Many of the things he did in his life showed that Isaac had an adventurous spirit, but particularly impressive was a three-month horseback ride he took from his home in San Bernardino to Yosemite and back.  I will discuss this trip later, but as you can see, California was a much different place in 1881 when Isaac was just 22 and out to see the world.
